Hello, my name is Bobbi Jo Hennessy and I am the Jr. Varsity cheerleading coach. My husband, Michael, and I have 3 children and live in Hanover Township. Last year was our 1st year with Bath Lions, primarily to get our children involved in sports. Little did we know, we found ourselves wanting to be more involved. Although this is my first year of coaching, cheerleading has always remained in my heart. I cheered from 6th thru 12th grade and I am a proud cheerleader alumni from Liberty High School. I’m one of those people who you could never take the cheerleader out of.
After high school, I went on to fulfill my childhood dream of wanting to become a nurse. I graduated from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing and took classes at Cedar Crest College and Penn State. I am currently employed at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill as a Registered Nurse Unit Manager, working there for the past 14 years. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, sports,vacationing, and collecting Longaberger baskets.
Getting involved with Bath Lions is more than I ever expected. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. It is a fun time, not only for the kids, but for the parents as well. It’s apparent that it’s not all about winning; it’s about keeping the kids safe as they learn, grow and move forward each year. Safety is of utmost importance. The coaches are dedicated to the kids. This is what makes me proud to be a part of Bath Lions. I am so excited about this upcoming season and look forward to working with your children.
