Varsity Cheerleading Coach Biography

Coach_Heaher My name is Heather Saeger and I am the Varsity Cheering Coach. This is my fifth year coaching the varsity squad. Before I was a head coach, I was an assistant coach for my daughters' teams when they were younger. My husband, Tom and I have three kids, Brittany, Erin and Jonathan. Both girls cheered for the Lions and my son played football here as well. Now they each are assistant coaches here at Bath. Both girls went on to cheer for competition squads and Jonathan is on the JV team for Northampton High School. I honestly believe that they wouldn't have gone as far as they did without the Bath Lions behind them.

I currently work at Walgreen's Option Care which is a home infusion pharmacy. I have been employeed there for two and a half years as receptionist, accounts payable and all around office go to person. I look forward to our family camping trips to the beach. I am also the treasurer for the Football Assiciation. My husband Tom lead announcer is in the announcers booth at our home games. He's the one counting pushups for our cheerleaders and fires up the sirin everytime someone scores.

I love coaching because I like to see the girls have fun. I take pride in my squad every year with all the spirit and support they give their football team. My family and I have been involved for many years now and enjoy coming back every year.

Varsity Football Coach Biography

Coach Roger The head coach for the varsity team (130's) is Coach Roger Unangst.  This year will be his sixth year coaching for Bath.  Coach Roger is 44 years old and has lived in the community for his entire life.  He is married.  His daughter cheered and his son played football for the Lions.  He and his wife Trudy own Unangst Tree Farms.

Coach Unangst believes in the basics of football.  Although most of his players have played the sport before, it is not required because his dedicated assistant coaches help bring kids up to speed.  If the basics are mastered at a young age, the child will be a much better football player in the future.  This will benefit every team that the child will ever play on as he advances with age.  Most importantly, properly taught form helps prevent injuries.
